| Video Discription | It's the End of Financial Year and that means that your taxes need preparing! It's the end of the financial year, and time to work out how much tax you owe for trading shares. I wanted to know how much I needed to have in the bank ready to pay the tax man so came up with this spreadsheet which I'll share with everyone. This way, there no nasty surprises when you file your tax return and get a massive tax bill due to your gains on the ASX. If you bought or sold any shares on the ASX, then it is likely to have tax obligations attached! Don't neglect it! In today's video, I show you the steps to the Google Spreadsheet which will help you work out your exact tax bill to the ATO based on your gains and losses, as well as your dividend payouts.
