| Video Discription | Here's a behind the scenes "fly on the stone wall" look at Hugh Padgam and Sonic Reality recreating classic drum sounds Hugh got engineering and producing bands like Genesis and Phil Collins. Hugh sets up the mics for a make shift single head vintage Premier set to sound like the classic "In The Air Tonight" drum sound at Genesis studio in Surrey England called The Farm. The same miking set up was used and Hugh explains that because Phil had so many toms he'd use one MD421 per two toms. Harry Rutherford, Mike's son, is assisting the session. This was a fun Sonic Reality sample session for the Studio ProFile series and future release for the Infinite Player plug-in. |
