| Video Discription | The last part of our transfer day from Zambia to Zimbabwe. We enter into the Hwange National Park to go to Kashawe Tented Camp. On the way we see the controversial coal mines that have caused so much strife in the country. It's amazing to see so much desolation just before one of the largest and most important national parks of the country that is supposed to protect so much wildlife. We wanted to get to camp before nightfall, so the drive was pretty fast, but there must be lots of animals around. At night we got escorted to our rooms by an armed guard! |
