| Video Discription | Ever see the permits that paper the walls of a construction site? They're posted as a matter of record to let the public know what that builder has permission to do. If you suspect that a building construction site is not following its city approved plan, contact 311 to file an anonymous complaint with the Department Of Buildings. Say for instance the posted permit gives the builder the right to build a wall but he decides to tear one down instead. He might be compromising the safety of the building. When you file a complaint, the Department of Buildings sends an inspector to examine the jobsite and make sure the builders are complying with the city's building codes.
