| Video Discription | Botany is a resource management, press your luck game where you take on a historical role of an English noble scouring the world for rare and precious flowers and plants. Plan your expedition and set off to discover the rarest of species, but take care, poor executing and unforeseen events can doom your adventure leading you to slink back to your estate with nothing but a story to tell. Check out our first impression of the game where you plan and fund your expedition, brave unique event encounters through personal status checks (charisma, luck, fortitude, etc.), hire crew, pets, and useful items, travel around the world, and, of course, obtain delicate species of plants. More carrying capacity equals longer expedition, but management of funds may cut your trip short. Lots of fun for any number of players. Victorian artwork, flavor text, and event card storytelling really immerses in this experience. Based on historical events (seriously this is why you have all the plant selections you have today in your home), this will be a great one to pull out to see who can win the English Queen's prize in Botany.
