| Video Discription | The theme for this blog was definitely chill, cafés, and cows. Ella and I headed up north for some cooler weather to visit two little mountain towns at the base of the Himalayas. The first one being Dharamshala, the home of the Dalai Lama. I was wondering why the Dalai Lama was in India but it’s because in 1960 he established his government in exile in Dharamshala during the Lhasa uprising and the Chinese consolidation of power across Tibet. The next place we visited was called Manali and it was a cute town right at the base of the Himalayas. No joke within a 20-minute drive you could start a trail through the mountains. Because of this, it was freezing and I definitely didn’t pack the correct gear but we still made it work.
