| Video Discription | (10 Mar 2022) Dozens of Tibetan exiles clashed with police outside the Chinese embassy in New Delhi on Thursday. Protesters from the Tibetan Youth Congress formed a human chain outside the embassy in the Indian capital and shouted slogans. The demonstration, as well as a ceremony in Dharmsala, marked the anniversary of the day in 1959 when Tibetans gathered in an unsuccessful uprising against Chinese rule. The rebellion was quelled by the Chinese army, forcing the Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, and his followers into exile in India. China claims Tibet has been part of its territory for centuries.
