| Video Discription | India's economy has rebounded strongly from the pandemic-induced contraction. On Jan 31, the government said GDP is actually 1.3 per cent above pre-pandemic levels. But it is not clear skies ahead as Asia's third-largest economy foresees growth slowing. The government is pencilling slower growth next year, in the range of 8 and 8.5 per cent. GDP for the current year ending March is projected to grow 9.2 per cent. That reverses the previous year's decline of 7.3 per cent, when the country endured the pandemic and lockdowns.
