Competence Exports, a private limited company based in Hajipur, Bihar, has created boots so advanced that even Russia is using them in their conflict with Ukraine. With 1.5 million boots delivered in a year, they plan to triple the orders with just 300 employees, 70% of whom are women. Isn't it amazing how a small Indian company, in just six years since its inception in 2018, has achieved such phenomenal growth? These boots are not only lightweight and combat-friendly but also have special features like anti-slip mechanisms and soles that can withstand temperatures as low as -40°C. The second news is about the Indian government's dedication to the "Made in India" and "Atmanirbhar Bharat" initiatives. The government has officially listed 346 military hardware items that India will no longer import, boosting domestic manufacturers and retaining our wealth within the country. This decision, involving an estimated cost of ₹1048 crore, will significantly benefit our economy and create numerous job opportunities. Our third news concerns China and its rapid progress in developing its sixth-generation fighter jet program. With significant advancements, China is on track to have a prototype by 2028 and fully operational jets by 2035.
