That means the kidney holds the blueprint of who we really are. We wouldn't want to be out of touch with that. It holds the record of our potential. The spleen is the foundation of our capacity to be nourished deeply. It gives us the capacity to transform what life puts on our plate into nourishment. Nourishment is half food and half the transformative power of digestion. For example eating the finest healthiest foods in bitterness and haste is not recommended.
