| Video Discription | I made this live video a few months ago when I was in love with Shreya Ghoshal’s interpretation of the song Jab Saiyaan from the movie Gangubai Kathiawadi. I wanted to play this song on my violin too. At that time, I searched for the perfect sound that brings out the beautiful nuances, gestures and longing tone of this song on my violin. I was happy I could play this song in one take with the karaoke track in front of the camera but wasn’t satisfied with my performance and thus didn’t feel like posting it on my social media at all. As much as I loved this song to be out there, I was hesitant and frustrated. I thought I didn’t do enough justice to it and gave up. After a long time, I just found it again this afternoon on my phone and thought actually it’s not that bad and it definitely deserves to be heard by my people out there. I want to thank Shreya Ghoshal Ji for inspiring me to sing this song with my four strings. I am in awe of what a jewel we have in India in you and how you have been an angel of music for our country and the whole world 🙏🏻.
