| Video Discription | Hiking this mountain is one of the top best things to do in Zimbabwe. Ngomakurira found in Goromonzi (place where they beat the drums) is a very large granite mountain 30 km from the outskirts of Harare, Zimbabwe. At one time the drums were regularly beaten there at a full moon. Close and similar to Ngomakurira mountain is the Domboshava mountain. However hikers who prefer a more strenuous hike than Domboshava need to travel out a little further into the Chinamora Communal Lands to Ngomakurira which is Domboshava’s big brother. Ngomakurira is known to many Harare residents as an area of intense beauty and great spiritual significance.
