The 81-year-old revealed to reporters he “wasn't very smart" for "travelling around the world a couple of times" before Thursday's debate. President Biden further added he “nearly fell asleep” while on stage despite spending almost a week at Camp David. “I didn’t listen to my staff... and then I nearly fell asleep on stage,” he said. To fend off fears and criticisms following his poor debate performance, President Biden will be interviewed by ABC News later this week. This will be the 81-year-old’s first televised interview since the debate and will sit down with George Stephanopoulos. |
