(ALLEN FILE) It's a big fall for a man with presidential ambitions in two years (FILE of US Capitol or inside of Senate chamber) For Democrats, it's a big step up -- to a Senate majority SOT: Charles Schumer, D-N.Y. "What color is my tie? Blue. What color is my tie? What color is the Senate? Blue, thanks to Jim Webb" (Webb supporters, maybe little girl on shoulders carrying sign) Webb says it took a brutal campaign to get there SOT: Jim Webb, Democratic Senator-elect 2:15 after he starts speaking "I would also like to today call on our president to publicly denounce the campaign tactics that have divided us rather than bring us together." (another crowd cut, or him shaking hands) Webb drew some big cheers at his rally by saying one of his first jobs will be to vote to a minimum wage hike. STANDUP: The crowd that jammed this suburban Washington plaza gave Webb a rock star's welcome. Hundreds swarmed forward as Webb arrived.
