Ans. Dear Sir/Ma’am, with JioFiber Postpaid 399 & 699 plan, customers can avail this free STB. Please follow the below steps to check eligibility for STB upgrade.
• Give a missed call on 8010000525 from WhatsApp-enabled number
• You will receive a WhatsApp message from Jio offers
• Click on “Check your eligibility”
• You will be prompted with an eligibility notification
• If you are eligible, then click on “Locate Store”
• Visit the nearest store to collect the free 4K Set Top Box
Post STB Installation, you will get a complimentary voucher in the MyJio app. Please redeem the voucher to start watching your favorite OTT and Live TV shows.
Q3. What are the benefits of the STB upgrade offer?
Ans. Dear Sir/Ma’am, Jio is offering a complimentary 4K STB worth Rs 6500, a subscription t o the content of 14 OTT apps for a period of 2 months, and access to 550+ live TV channels.
List of 14 OTT apps are: Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, SonyLiv, Voot, Voot Kids, SunNXT, Hoichoi, AltBalaji, EROS Now, Lionsgate, ShemarooMe, Discovery+, Universal+, JioCinema, and JioSaavn.
Q4. I am a Postpaid customer in backup plan. Can I get the free STB offer?
Ans. Dear Sir/Ma’am, this offer is applicable only for Postpaid customers who do not have an STB and are on 399 and 699 plans.
To avail the offer, please migrate to JioFiber 399 or JioFiber 699 Postpaid plans.
After the bill plan is changed to Rs 399 or Rs 699, you can check eligibility by giving a missed call on 8010000525 from WhatsApp enabled number.
Q5. How do I install the STB at home?
Ans. Dear Sir/Ma’am, Jio 4K STB is a simple plug and play device. You can follow the YouTube video for more details on the installation process which will be sent to you once you pick up the STB device from the store.
Q6. How do I redeem the complimentary 14 OTT subscription voucher?
Ans. Dear Sir/Ma’am, on STB installation, you will get a complimentary 14 OTT subscription voucher credited to your MyJio app. You can redeem the OTT pack with below steps:
• Open MyJio app and click on the “Voucher” section
• Under the voucher section you will see an OTT voucher
• Click on “Redeem” to activate the OTT subscription
Q7. What will happen post 2 months of complimentary period is over?
Ans. Dear Sir/Ma’am, Jio 4K STB and subscription to OTT apps are free for the first 2 months. After 2 months, the customer will be upgraded to the OTT bundled offer as below:
• JioFiber Postpaid 399 plan customers will be upgraded to JioFiber Postpaid 599 plan
• JioFiber Postpaid 699 plan customers will be upgraded to JioFiber Postpaid 899 plan
In case the customer has already upgraded to an OTT bundled offer within the complimentary period, he/she will continue with that offer.
Q8. When will the 2 month free period start?
Ans. Dear Sir/Ma’am, the 2 months free subscription of 14 OTT apps starts from the time STB is collected from the store.
Q9. Is this offer applicable for new customers also?
Ans. Dear Sir/Ma’am, this offer is only for existing JioFiber customers on Postpaid 399 and Postpaid 699 plans.
Q10. What if I don’t want the STB after 2 months? How should I return?
Ans. Dear Sir/Ma’am, you can return the STB before the offer expiry period and you will be notified about the process through appropriate channels.
Q11. Will the OTT subscription work on other devices?
Ans. Dear Sir/Ma’am, yes, the subscription is attached to the Registered Mobile Number. Can be used across all devices.

Ans. Confirm with the customer that he has STB physically available with him.
If yes: Schedule a STB Demo visit. Engineer need not carry STB as it is already available with customer

Q13. Can I change my plan?
Ans. Dear Sir/Ma’am, yes, you can change your plan during the offer period.
Q14. I am a Prepaid customer with an Internet-only plan, how can I avail FREE Postpaid STB?
Ans. Dear Sir/Ma’am, you will need to migrate your JioFiber connection from Prepaid to Postpaid. Once migration is complete, check eligibility for the STB offer by giving a missed call on 8010000525 from any WhatsApp-enabled number.
Q15. Can I pick up STB from any store or will it be a specific store based on my registered address?
