| Video Discription | This is a quick tip that shows you how to stop programs saving JPEG files as JFIF. I noticed this started happening with web browsers Firefox and Chrome. Although I believe the files are technically JFIF, the data inside it is JPEG data; most programs expect a .JPG extension. This is the address for RegEdit: Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MIME\Database\Content Type\image/jpeg Some image viewers were separating JFIF from JPG and not showing files in the correct order, so this solved the issue for me. You can, of course, manually rename any .JFIF file extensions to .JPG and the files should be fine.
