| Video Discription | The Kandyan Dancers Company celebrates the debut performances of six dancers who have attained their “Pahim Path”, traditional Sri Lankan dance graduation which marks the culmination of a student’s training and their first performance on stage. Congratulations to our first graduates Pavindri, Budmi, Keshia, Kaavya, Geemini and Ranoshi! Accompanying them with live drumming from Sri Lanka are Guru Prasanna Rupasinghe, Director of the Prasanna Ru Dance Academy, and talented drumming artist of the academy, Koshan Mapatuna. Special thanks to Ven. Wanduramba Kassapa Thero for his support and for Athula Dassana Temple for hosting us! |
