| Video Discription | On January 8th, 2024, officers in Ohio conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle make an illegal left turn on a red light. The suspect, a female driver, displayed signs of impairment, including slow movements and delayed responses. Officers noted her seatbelt was improperly worn, and her eyes appeared watery and dilated. When asked for her license and insurance, the suspect struggled to comply and repeatedly asked for the reasons for the stop. During the encounter, officers conducted field sobriety tests, including the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN), Walk and Turn (WAT), and One-Leg Stand (OLS). The suspect had difficulty following instructions and maintaining her balance. She failed to perform the tests correctly and was visibly unsteady on her feet. Additionally, officers found a vape pen suspected to contain THC in her purse, which she later admitted to using. After her arrest for OVI, the suspect was taken to the police station, where she continued to resist and was eventually transported to a hospital for evaluation. At the hospital, she admitted to drinking alcohol and refused to provide a urine sample for testing.
