| Video Discription | The traffic near Erciyes University of the central Turkish city of Kayseri returned to normal just hours after an explosion killed 14 and injured 56 on early Saturday. A large number of residents concerned with the situation gathered at the site, with some clearing the bus station and hanging a national flag on it. Liu, from China, is a Chinese teacher in Erciyes University. The explosion was less than one kilometer away from his dorm. "I was just waking up and when I heard the explosion, I thought it was a flat tire. Ten minutes later I saw fire engines and ambulances arriving on the road in front of my dorm. That's when I thought it was possibly a big accident. This city, to be honest, has never seen this type of an attack. I feel that this city is one of the safest cities," said Liu, adding that he was really surprised and shocked by the blast. The blast hit a bus transporting soldiers as it drove past a car believed to be packed with explosives. The bus started from a military camp, and the soldiers were believed to be the target of the attack. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said it was separatists that carried out the attack. Suleyman Soylu, the Minister of the Interior of Turkey, said seven suspects were arrested, including five related with Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which is considered a terrorist organization by Turkish government. The blast comes a week after twin bombings outside an Istanbul soccer stadium killed more than 40 people and wounded more than 100, an attack claimed by a branch of the PKK. One resident spoke for the Turkish people in defense of their nation. "We will not be afraid of them because of terrorist attacks. For every person who falls, a thousand Turkish people will rise in their stead. We are not scared. If they are not cowards, they shall fight us face-to-face like soldiers on a battlefield," he said.
