It may be mentioned that KCR had announced his plans to organise like-minded parties to create a new political platform at national level, as a third alternative to Congress and BJP. His family members also join him in the first phase Yatra that covers four States including Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal and New Delhi. KCR is using the aircraft hired by his Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party for his tour to expand party base and connections. On December 23, KCR will visit one of his spiritual gurus, Swamy Swaroopanandendra Saraswati at the famous Sri Sarada Peetham. A staunch follower of the seer, KCR began his campaign for Telangana assembly elections only after Raja Syamala Yagnam was performed by Swaroopananda at his farmhouse in November. KCR's party came back to power with a thumping majority of 88 seats in the 119-member assembly. Rao family will perform special Poojas at Raja Syamala temple on Sarada Peetham premises and take the blessings of the seer. The family will have lunch at the ashram. Notably, YR Congress party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy also follows Swaroopananda, though he practices Christianity. KCR has plans for entry in Andhra Pradesh politics. In Odisha, KCR will meet CM Navin Patnaik and stay at the CM's residence that night. On 24, Rao family will visit Konark temple and Puri Jagannath temple. The same evening, KCR will meet his West Bengal counterpart Mamata Banerjee before visiting Kali Matha temple. The same night, he will fly to New Delhi.
