He is currently the Director of Education for a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching Java to kids called The League of Amazing Programmers and an instructor for UCSD extension. His interests include programming, music, and computer science education. He has a bachelor’s degree in computer science, and continues to learn new things every day. Company Bio: The LEAGUE of Amazing Programmers is a 501c(3) non-profit programming school with the mission of igniting young minds through programming. We arm League students in grades 5th through 12th with the critical thinking skills they need to prepare for science and technology careers of the 21st century. We are unique in our belief that professional software development can be taught to young students. This best prepares our students to compete for college and well-paying jobs. Through our 10 level curriculum students learn to create software apps, collaborate on projects, and ultimately earn an Oracle Java certification. The League of Amazing Programmers is dedicated to unlocking the mysteries of coding for kids. We teach in a fun and engaging manner to make learning programming a lively process of discovery.
