Kelsey first heard Megan Thee Stallion freestyling at a kickback in college, when she was blown away. With the musical background she inherited from her father, Kelsey Nicole recorded Megan Thee Stallion and uploaded the video to YouTube, marking the beginning of a volatile journey. On a technicality, Kelsey Nicole found Megan Thee Stallion, a fact that even the rapper’s late mother thanked her for. Things ultimately took a turn for the worse in July 2020. In an episode of alcohol and betrayal, Megan Thee Stallion was left with bullet shrapnel after a gun went off. Whether Megan was actually shot or not remains a contentious point, one that rappers like Drake and Nicki Minaj have turned into a punchline.
