'Do You Really Love Me' is the flip-side to 'Back With My Baby'. Both tunes were written, produced and arranged by Van McCoy with backgound vocals by Dee Dee Warwick, Cissy Houston & Doris Troy. Keeni Woods is in reality Kendra Spotswood. She began working with Van McCoy singing lead and background vocals on his demos which she continued doing throughout the 1960's. She also recorded as The PACETTES on Regina, JACK & JILL on Maxx, The FANTASTIC VANTASTICS on Tuff, SANDI SHELDON on Okeh, The VONETTES on Cobblestone, and ANDY ALSTON & ALICE PRESLEY on Maxwell. Van McCoy and Kendra had such similar voices it is difficult to tell them apart on these records. |
