Representatives of LDF and UDF candidates raised concerns, leading to a complaint to the District Collector. CPM Leader M V Balakrishnan, the LDF candidate for Kasaragod Lok Sabha constituency, lodged the complaint, urging an investigation into the discrepancies by District Collector Inbasekar K, the District Election Officer. UDF candidate Rajmohan Unnithan's agent, Muhammed Nasar Cherkalam Abdulla, urged the assistant returning officer (ARO) to change the problematic machines.
