In this video, we’re going to talk about Hashimoto’s disease and take a look at some of the remedies that can help alleviate Hashimoto’s symptoms. Hashimoto’s is an autoimmune disease of the thyroid that causes a hypothyroid condition. Oftentimes, Hashimoto’s is looked at as only a thyroid issue, but it is largely an autoimmune problem. The onset of Hashimoto’s typically occurs after a significantly stressful event. Many people report a loss, pregnancy, injury, or other trauma right before their Hashimoto's symptoms began. The immune system is very sensitive to stress.
