The Champa King settled the matter with a tower building contest. The Chams won with this tower -The ingenious use of red bricks without any binding mortar still befuddles archeologists to this day -The Cham script evolved from the influence of the Brahimi script from India Mui Ne (Still within the Champa territory of Panduranga) -Mui Ne is known as the resort capital of Vietnam with scenic beaches and sand dunes -The temples of Mui Ne were built in the 8th century and are among the oldest standing today |
