| Video Discription | We visited Pilatus with a great plan of admiring the sunset on the very top of the mountain but forgot to check the cable car schedule and missed the last cable car at 4pm up meaning that our hike changed quite a bit along the way but neverthless it was worth it! Our journey started on the bottom of the cable car station in Kriens and our highest point was Krienseregg (1026m / 3369ft). On the way we saw Schloss Schauensee and panoramic views of lake Luzern and Pilatus Kulm (Highest peak of Pilatus). The way to the top has quite steep elevation and if you are not used to hiking it may be better to take the cable car instead (remember to be there before 4pm, check the exact schedule at [https://www.pilatus.ch/informieren/fahrplan](https://www.pilatus.ch/informieren/fahrplan)).
