A shocking news !….my good friend K.V.Anand is no more. An achiever and a very good human being, Anand has left a message that hard work combined with creativity can take us to the helm of fame. I could not forget the days we spent in the late eighties sitting on our bikes in front of the Konica color lab, Nungambakam talking hours together about photography almost every day. We were working as freelance magazine photographers then. A genuine person from his heart, Anand had spared some quality time, to be our chief guest for the photography exhibition of my students of @ambitions4_photography_academy in 2004. His motivational talk on that day was very impressive and something I remember even today. Later in his third movie ‘KO’, KV as a director had used a lot of mine and my students’ photos in the title cards. It was a great honour and we thanked him for his acknowledgment. There are few simple, humble and genuine persons in the movie industry, my friend Anand is one among them. May his creative soul rest in peace. My heartfelt condolences to his family members.
