| Video Discription | Laal Maas Recipe | Rajasthani Laal Maas || Laal Maans Murray curry || Mutton gravy curry || Rajasthani mutton curry || @HomeCookingShow #laasmaasrecipe #rajasthanilaalmaas #muttonrecipe #muttoncurry #laalmaans #laalmaasrajasthani #homecooking Prep Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 1.5 hours Servings: 6-7 Ingredients Mutton - 1 Kg Mathania Chilli - 25 Nos Mustard Oil - 2 Tbsp Whole Spices (Cinnamon, Clove, Green Cardamom, Black Cardamom, Bay Leaf, Mace & Nutmeg) Onion - 5 Nos Thinly Sliced Garlic Paste - 1 1/2 Tbsp Ginger Paste - 1 Tbsp Coriander Powder - 2 Tsp Salt Ghee - 1 Tbsp Whisked Curd - 1 Cup Water Chopped Coriander Leaves Method: 1. Soak the Mathania chilies in water for about 1 hour. 2. Transfer the soaked chilies into a mixer jar and grind into a fine paste by adding a little soaked chili water to it. Keep this chili paste aside. 3. Take mustard oil in a pan and add the whole spices to it. 4. Saute the spices for a few seconds and add the onions, 4 Mathania red chilies and saute until the onions are golden brown in colour. 5. Add garlic paste, ginger paste, mix and saute for 2-3 mins. 6. Add the mutton pieces to the pan and mix everything well. 7. Now, add in the ground chili paste and give it all a quick mix. 8. Cook for about 5 mins and add the coriander powder, salt, ghee and mix well. 9. After 5 mins, add the whisked curd, mix and add 2 cups of water. 10. Mix well and slow cook the mutton for about 1 hour on a medium low flame with the pan covered. See that the oil separates from the gravy. Cook for 1/2 hour more if required. 11. Check for seasoning and add salt if required. Finally add the chopped coriander leaves and mix well. 12. Spicy and flavourful Laal Maans is ready to be served with main course of your choice!
