It was clean and relatively quiet. The site was small, but did come with a fire ring and a picnic table. It also has a few feet of pavement to park your vehicle, so you can pack heavier items and not have to worry about taking them far. The bathrooms are vault toilets, and they do not smell pleasant, but that was to be expected. Several small trails right across from the site that will take you to the lower falls, and it was a beautiful view. Falling asleep to the sound of rushing water from the river was a perfect touch. My only “issue” is that the sites are not very private, as you can see right through the trees on either side directly into your neighbors site. Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay for the night and check out the falls. The drive up and the surrounding areas made this even more worth it.
