| Video Discription | Ingredients - 3 medium sized onions finely chopped 3 medium sized tomatoes finely chopped 1 big cup(2 medium potatoes) finely diced 1 big cup(2 medium carrots) finely diced 1 big cup(apprx 150gms) - Suran(hindi name) or Yam(english name) finely diced 1 cup green peas(frozen or fresh) 1 raw mango - peeled and sliced 3 tsp ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp jaggery powder or a medium piece of jaggery 1 tsp - cumin seeds or jeera(whole) Kasuri methi Salt to taste Dry masala powders- 3 tsp red chilli powder 3 tsp dhania jeera powder 1 tsp turmeric or haldi powder 1 tsp garam masala powder Method of Preparation - 1) In a kadhai, heat 3 cooking spoons oil and add 1 tsp cumin seeds or jeera to it and let it splutter. 2) To this add the finely chopped onions and roast the onions well till they turn golden brown, add salt to taste and roast again for sometime. 3) Then add the ginger garlic paste and roast it with the onions for another 2 minutes. 4) After that, add all the dry masala powders and roast till the onions and masalas blend well. 5) Now add the finely chopped tomatoes and let them cook till they turn soft and oil starts leaving the sides of the kadhai. 6) Once tomatoes have cooked and are soft, add all the vegetables, add the raw mango also which is peeled and cut into pieces, add 2 tbsp jaggery powder, mix well. 7) To this add 400ml water, mix well again and cover it with a lid and let it cook for 10 minutes. Check on it and add the 1- 2tsp kasuri methi to it. Every few minutes check on the vegetables and see if they have cooked properly. Once the vegetables are cooked and water has dried, shut the gas. 8) Serve hot with chapatis, paratha, naan or bread. Kindly like, comment, share and subscribe to my channel.
