Let us learn another lakshana geetham in Tamil composed in Raga Saraswathi and set to Tristra jathi Triputa Talam. This Geetham is composed by Sri. SR Janakiraman. The janaka ragas attributed to Sarswathi are the 64th Mela Vachaspathi and 58th Mela Hemavathi. Saraswathi is an audava shadava raga and the notes taken are Shadjam, Cha R, Prathi Madhayama, Cha D, and Kaishiki Nishadam. R, P and D are the Graha, Amsa and Nyasa Swaras of this raga. The range of this raga begins from Manthra sthayi Dhaivatham to Tara sthayi Madhyamam. The notes M and N have kampitha gamakās.
