| Video Discription | If your ELV dimmer switch isn’t properly adjusted, you might experience flickering or drop out at lower dimming levels, or a delay/inconsistency lighting up when first turned on. In this video, we’ll show you how to use a feature built into many dimmers to adjust that behavior out and get a more consistent experience with your dimmers. The exact process will likely vary based on the specific brand and model you have installed, but will typically be similar to either the adjustment wheel (shown with the Eaton-Cooper DAL06P, but the process is similar for the TAL06P and SAL06P) or the button combination to enter an adjustment mode (shown with the Lutron Caseta ELV+). Keep in mind, this won’t solve issues with incompatible dimmers – be sure to check with your light fixture manufacturer to verify what dimming technology you should be using (forward phase, reverse phase/ELV, MLV, or others).
