On this encounter IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said Two terrorists including a top commander of proscribed terror outfit LeT, Ishfaq Dar alias Abu Akram was neutralized. Akram was active here since 2017. He was a Police Constable earlier & was involved in many killings of Police personnel & civilians. Both were residents of Shopian. The security forces recovered incriminating materials including arms and ammunition from the encounter site. A search operation is currently underway.
