It’s a monthly dividend-paying fund that generates cash on a daily basis. The QQQY then is using daily put options to produce the dividend income and in a much different way than you might be familiar with the covered call ETFs like the QYLD. We talk mostly about the monthly and long-term options here on the channel but if we go here to the Nasdaq 100 ETF, the QQQ, and to its options available, we can see there are a lot more expirations available. You can buy or sell options that don’t expire until June 2026 or at the other extreme, those that expire in days or even the zero-days to expiration.
