| Video Discription | May 17, 2022, was a historic day for the Indian stock markets. The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) was listed on the stock markets on that day. The IPO is India's largest IPO yet, and the company raised Rs 21,000 crore from the public. It saw a reasonably good response from all categories of investors. The life insurance giant has performed poorly in the stock market since Day 1. On May 15, it closed at Rs. 567.95 on the BSE, a steep fall from its IPO price of Rs. 949. Even its highest price since listing is Rs. 920, below the IPO price, and that too on listing day (May 17). The stock hit a low of Rs. 530.20 recently. So, what should retail investors do now?
