Die Blindside Blues Band um Mastermind Mike Onesko gehört zur Spitze des Power-Blues. Onesko ist, wie man in seiner amerikanischen Heimat gerne sagt, ein "bad ass axeslinger". Selten wird derzeit der Blues ähnlich hard'n'heavy interpretiert wie von dieser Combo. Klassischer 'old school' wird von ihnen mit härtesten Riffs und mächtigen Fills ausgestattet. Oneskos Spiel ist an Gitarristen wie Jimi Hendrix und Robin Trower geschult, auch Cream oder Deep Purple fallen als Referenzgrößen ein - wobei die spektakuläre Musikalität aller Beteiligten nie zum Selbstzweck gerät, sondern sich stets der Band unterordnet.
