| Video Discription | Creating Moments with DCA volume adjustments is one of my favorite things to do while mixing. I simply have all of the vocals on one DCA and all of the band on another. As the band is going into a down portion of the song, slowly pull the two DCA's back by several dB's and then you have all of that room to build it back up. Check out how I do it live in this video. Being completely transparent, I roughed in this mix fairly quickly. Upon second listen, my drums are a bit boxy sounding. So, I'm not thrilled with how they sound. It would have been better if I removed a bit more of the 250-450Hz with EQ.
