| Video Discription | CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Local 12 has named longtime reporter/anchor Paula Toti and anchor Kyle Inskeep as evening co-anchors for the station’s primary evening newscasts effective immediately. “We conducted a nation-wide search in an effort to secure the strongest anchor team to lead the station to the next level in 2020,” said Sinclair Broadcast Group Manager and Local 12 General Manager Jon Lawhead. “The results of that search made it abundantly clear to us that the team we'd put together in June of 2018 was exactly what the viewer and user wanted to see.” Inskeep and Toti will anchor the station's weeknight newscasts at 5, 6 and 11. Kyle joined WKRC as a news anchor in June of 2018. Prior to moving to Cincinnati, Kyle worked as a morning reporter and fill in anchor for FOX 59 in Indianapolis for three years. While there he covered the 2017 Presidential Inauguration as well as the 100th running of the Indy 500. Directly following college Kyle worked for NBC News In Washington D.C. He was also selected as the 2012 Tim Russert Fellow. As a part of that program he served as a researcher assisting correspondents and field producers while working alongside the Meet The Press digital team. He graduated magna cum laude from Butler University. Prior to being hired by WKRC over two decades ago, Paula worked at WBNS-TV and WCMH-TV in Columbus as well as television stations in Richmond, Virginia, Cleveland and Green Bay, Wisconsin. Toti has earned an Emmy nomination for business reporting and has also been honored for her work as a spot news reporter. Paula graduated from California State University-Sacramento with honors and a bachelor's degree in communication studies. With the recent February Nielsen ratings period just concluding, Local 12 was once again the dominant news leader in every daypart, with more people watching Local 12 News than any other Tri-State television station. |
