| Video Discription | A Long March-2C launch vehicle launched the Huanjing-2 06 satellite from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, Shanxi Province, China, on 8 August 2023, at 22:53 UTC (9 August, at 06:53 local time). The Huanjing-2 06 (环境减灾二号06) satellite, also know as S-SAR-02, is designed to collect 5-metre resolution S-band radar image data and will “support disaster prevention, reduction, relief, and environmental protection”. According to official sources, the satellite entered the planned orbit and will form a network with S-SAR-01.
