| Video Discription | Welcome to four of the world's most eye-popping cemeteries - Hollywood Forever, Forest Lawn Glendale, Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, and Westwood Village Memorial Park. All four are within easy driving distance of each other in the Los Angeles metro area. They are the final resting places of luminaries such as Michael Jackson, Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland, Natalie Wood, Rudolph Valentino, Walt Disney, Humphrey Bogart, Jimmy Stewart, Carrie Fisher, Debbie Reynolds, Michael Hutchence, Chris Cornell, Mathew Perry and hundreds more. These cemeteries are open to the public (Hollywood Forever's flower shop helpfully offers maps of the cemetery) although parts of several of the mausoleums are accessible only to keyholders (this includes Holly Terrace at Forrest Lawn Glendale, location of Michael Jackson's crypt). Hollywood Forever Cemetery backs on to the famous historic studio lot of Paramount Pictures along its south side. |
