| Video Discription | The United States-Indonesia Society is pleased to share videos of our 2020 Gala Dinner that we held in Washington D.C. on Thursday, February 13, 2020. This year's special Gala Dinner had the theme "U.S.-Indonesia Economic Relations 2020: Seizing the Potential for Trade and Investment." Our Indonesian Guest of Honor and Featured Speaker was Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, H.E. Luhut Pandjaitan, who has been given primary investment responsibility by President Jokowi. Our Indonesian featured speakers were the new Minister of Trade, H.E. Agus Suparmanto, the new Minister of Communications and Information Technology, H.E. Johnny G. Plate, and the new Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mahendra Siregar. For our U.S. Special Guest Speakers, we were delighted to have Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, the Honorable Keith Krach, the CEO of International Development Finance Corporation, the Honorable Adam Boehler, as well as Congressman Ted Yoho. The United States-Indonesia Society (USINDO) is the premier bi-national non-governmental organization exclusively deepening United States-Indonesia relations and mutual understanding. Since its establishment in 1994, USINDO has been enhancing Americans’ understanding of Indonesia, Indonesians’ knowledge of America, deepening people to people relations of the two countries, and building the civil society foundations of the present U.S – Indonesia Strategic Partnership.
