| Video Discription | Rihanna's Caribbean mac and cheese is the PERFECT summer dish! #summervibes ✨Recipe: 16 oz elbow macaroni ½ tbsp unsalted butter ½ cup finely chopped onion 1 bell pepper julienned 2 scallions sliced 1 can evaporated milk (12oz) 1tsp paprika 1tsp cayenne pepper 2 tbsp sour cream ¼ cup mustard ¼ cup ketchup 1 ½ tbsp Jamaican scotch bonnet pepper sauce 32oz colby jack cheese freshly grated 1. Cook elbow macaroni according to package (just under al dente), set aside. 2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add in the onion, bell pepper stir and cook for about 5 minutes or until translucent. Set aside. 3. In the same skillet skillet, whisk together evaporated milk, sour cream, mustard, ketchup, and seasoning. 4. Pour cooked bell pepper, onion, and sauce mixture into the macaroni and stir until well combined. Add in scotch bonnet pepper sauce, and green onions, along with handfuls of cheese at a time until melted. 5. Add to a greased baking dish layered with more cheese and bake for 10 - 15 minutes, or place in fridge unbaked and save for the next morning. 6. Serve, and enjoy! 😊 |
