He has also appeared in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and English-language productions. In a career spanning five decades, he has acted in over 400 films. He is the recipient of several accolades, including three National Film Awards, seven Kerala State Film Awards, and thirteen Filmfare Awards South. For his contribution to film, the Government of India awarded him the Padma Shri in 1998. Mammootty made his debut in acting through Malayalam film Anubhavangal Paalichakal in 1971. Major commercial successes during this time included the 1983 films Sandhyakku Virinja Poovu and Aa Raathri. Following a series of box office failures, the 1987 crime thriller New Delhi improved his commercial prospects. The films that followed through the next decade established Mammootty as one of the leading stars of Malayalam cinema. Dileesh Pothan made his acting debut as a film director in one scene in Aashiq Abu's 2011 film Salt N' Pepper. His second directional was Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, which was also a critical and commercial hit. Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum won the Best Feature Film in Malayalam Award as well at the 65th National Film Awards. His third and latest film Joji, also starring Fahadh Faasil, released to highly positive reviews on the OTT platform of Amazon Prime Video in April 2021. Joji won the best International Film Award at the Swedish International Film Festival. Aishwarya Lekshmi is an Indian actress and producer who predominantly works in Malayalam and Tamil films. She won several accolades including a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South. She made her acting debut with 2017 Malayalam film Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela. She went on to appear in films like Mayaanadhi, Varathan, Vijay Superum Pournamiyum, Argentina Fans Kaattoorkadavu. Lekshmi made her Tamil debut with Action. Aishwarya Lekshmi was born on 6 September 1990 in Trivandrum, Kerala, India. Lekshmi did her schooling at Holy Angel's Convent Trivandrum and Sacred Hearts girls Higher Secondary School, Thrissur and completed her MBBS degree from Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences, Ernakulam, in 2017. She also completed her internship there. She resides in Trivandrum and Cochin. Aishwarya Lekshmi states that she "never planned on acting", but now that she has finished her studies, she decided to give it a try when she chanced upon casting call by Althaf Salim for the family-drama Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela starring Nivin Pauly and was cast in a prominent role. She then did the female lead in romantic thriller Mayaanadhi by Aashiq Abu. The film became a major success and her role as an aspiring actress garnered appreciation. In 2018, she appeared in Varathan with Fahadh Faasil. In 2019 Aishwarya appeared in three Malayalam films: Vijay Superum Pournamiyum, Argentina Fans Kaattoorkadavu and Brother's Day. She also made her Tamil debut with Action, opposite Vishal. She then went on to appear in the Tamil Gangster film, Jagame Thandhiram alongside Dhanush, in which she played the role of Attilla. Which released in Netflix. In 2022, she made her name in the industry through the role as ‘Poonguzhali’ in Mani Ratnam's historical action drama film Ponniyin Selvan. Lekshmi made her debut as a producer with Tamil film Gargi. Suhasini Rajaram Naidu known by her stage name Sneha, is an Indian actress who works primarily in Tamil and Telugu films. She made her debut with Malayalam movie Ingane Oru Nilapakshi. She debuted in Telugu in the year 2001 with the film Priyamaina Neeku.
