| Video Discription | In this week's vlog, we meet the face of Lake Toba cat rescue - the lovely Uncle Bond. This awesome man has been providing a loving home to cats and kittens in Tuktuk, Lake Toba for the last nine years. Our fur-family went from one kitten to three this week, as we found twin tabbies on the side of the road. So we were so stoked to meet a fellow cat lover here on Samosir Island. Come with us to meet Uncle Bond. Hear the story of how he became a cat-lover later in life and his thoughts on Lake Toba cat rescue. A few years ago, Uncle Bond ran the well-known and highly-rated Lake Toba Cats Garden, a guesthouse where animal lovers could come and stay amongst a flock of felines. Unfortunately, things got rough in Sumatra over the last few years, and life is still challenging for Uncle Bond and his cats. As fellow cat lovers, we plan to stay in touch with Uncle Bond (and his cats) and try to support him to keep doing what he does so well.
