| Video Discription | In the news this week it was revealed British Billionaire James Dyson (the inventor of the famous Dyson vacuum cleaners) had invested $600m on developing an Electric Car. He made the decision to pull the plug after evaluating the high costs needed to build each car (and the high, non-competitive sales price which would be needed to be profitable). This is the downside innovators must face; often new ideas don't work out, even after investing years of time and huge sums of money. But the upside is sometimes during this innovation process, something new and unexpected is discovered. Perhaps it's not the original goal - but it still can have enormous potential. |
