| Video Discription | Today, less than 3% of people in India with drug-resistant TB are able to get the treatment they need to stay alive. Inaccurate tests and inadequate treatment continues to fuel the spread of TB drug-resistance in India. The photofilm tells the story of Shanti, living with MDR-TB and HIV in Mumbai, and had to struggle long and hard to find the treatment that she needs. She was finally referred to MSF's clinic in Mumbai and started on treatment, but her disease had progressed very far and MSF's medical staff were unable to save her life. Very sadly, she died soon after these photos were taken.
