| Video Discription | #meil #transport #rvnl RVNL’s railway tunnel project is a unique project designed to make travelling effortless from Rishikesh to Karnaprayag. Every year, millions of pilgrims who embark on the Char Dham yatra travel through this route. The roads on this route are ghat roads prone to mud and landslides. Extreme temperature fluctuations and frequent rainfalls only add to the woes. This project will alleviate the journey experience and cut down the travel time to a great extent. What makes this project unique is the challenges involved while excavating the tunnels on such arduous terrain at a high altitude in the foothills of the Himalayas. Despite the difficulties, the company is executing a part of the RVNL project and has successfully completed the excavation of 13-km long tunnels overcoming topography challenges. Recently the company was also appreciated as the ‘Best Contractor’ by the RVNL authorities. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Transportation plays a vital role in everyday’s life. For smoother commutation, it is prerequisite to have the proper infrastructure in place. MEIL is the front runner in creating transport infrastructure. MEIL constructed several highways including Hyderabad-Karim Nagar Highway. MEIL is involved in the construction Super Communication Highway between Nagpur – Mumbai.
