The star-studded concert took place at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia and featured once-in-a-lifetime collaborations by friends and admirers coming together to pay tribute to Allman’s music. The lineup included GRAMMY, CMA, ACM, Americana, W. C. Handy Blues and Dove Award nominated and winning musicians. An all-star band led by GRAMMY Award-winner Don Was served as the musical director. About Gregg Allman Gregg Allman is one of the most acclaimed and beloved icons in rock and roll history. A founding member of the Allman Brothers Band and successful solo artist in his own right, Allman possesses a voice that has resonated through four decades; a voice that once heard is never forgotten. A legendary songwriter who expresses visceral human feelings in words and music—joy and despair, dreams and nightmares, loneliness and love–Gregg Allman writes from the heart and touches the soul.
