| Video Discription | Set in 1970s New York, HBO drama “Vinyl” created by Mick Jagger, Martin Scorsese, Rich Cohen and Terence Winter debuted with a two-hour series premiere directed by Scorsese, with feature scale visual effects created by Deluxe’s Method Studios in New York. Method Artists delivered approximately 250 VFX shots for the episode, including the culminating sequence that depicts the collapse of the iconic Mercer Arts Center performance space. Additional VFX work includes environmental enhancements for an authentic 70s aesthetic, including creating a CG theater marquee, set extensions, matte paintings and covering a subway station in digital graffiti.
